Welcome to Mathurin Méheut Museum

Situated in the centre of Lamballe in the Département des Côtes-d'Armor, in Brittany, the Mathurin Méheut Museum is dedicated to this artist who was a painter, interior decorator, illustrator, ceramicist and sculptor who was born in this town and lived between 1882 and 1958. The museum is situated in a historic half-timbered house.

The Mathurin Meheut museum is devoted solely to the works of this artist. The wealth and variety of works owned by the museum enables it to arrange exhibitions with different themes from year to year. For 2016, embroideries in Brittany and textile arts are honored. 

Hours of opening and cost of entry

From the 19 march, april, may, june, September, october  : tuesday to Saturday opening hours from 10.00 am till 12.00 am and from 2.00 pm till 6.00 pm
July, august : tuesday to Saturday opening hours from 10.00 am till 12.00 am and from 2.00 pm till 6.00 pm. The sunday from 2.00 pm till 6.00 pm
November, december : tuesday to Saturday opening hours from 2.00 pm till 5.00 pm
Open on Bank holidays : 5 may, 14 july, opening hours from 2.00 pm till 6.00 pm. 1 november, 11 november, opening hours from 2.00 pm till 5.00 pm.

Cost of entry : € 3. Reduced rates € 1, € 2.
